GUM Smart One Light Feedback

  1. Instant Brushing Control: The four lights around the power button provide immediate feedback on how well the four areas of your mouth (dentists refer to these as quadrants) have been brushed:

    • Light above the power button illuminates: Upper chewing and inner surfaces have been sufficiently brushed
    • Light to the right of the power button illuminates: Right outer surfaces have been sufficiently brushed
    • Light below the power button illuminates: Lower chewing and inner surfaces have been sufficiently brushed
    • Light to the left of the power button illuminates: Left outer surfaces have been sufficiently brushed
    • All lights illuminate: All areas of the mouth have been well brushed, and the brushing session can be concluded
    • Not all lights illuminate after the brushing session: The lights that do not illuminate indicate the areas that need additional brushing
  2. Base Light Ring: The light ring at the base of the GUM Smart One provides various status signals:

    • Flashing green: Battery is charging
    • Solid green: Battery is fully charged
    • Flashing red: Battery level is low
    • Solid red: Battery is empty
    • Flashing blue: Looking for Bluetooth connection
    • Solid blue: Connected to the app
    • Flashing orange: Brushing too quickly or applying too much pressure
